Nibras Registration, Terms & Conditions, and Privacy Consent

Version 2026-02-24

Welcome to Nibras. Whether you are enrolling your child or joining an adult workshop, this page explains your registration profile and consent responsibilities.

Part A: Registrant Profile

You may register as an adult student, for your child, or both. A single person keeps one profile with date of birth and role flags.

  • Myself (I am 18 or older)
  • My Child / Dependent (Under 18)
  • Myself AND My Child

If the student is under 18, they are linked as a dependent under an adult account. If age is 18 or older, they register as their own account and sign consent personally.

Part B: Terms and Conditions of Service

1. Program Structure and Environment

Nibras provides Arabic instruction for children (5+) and adults. Youth programs are educational tutoring sessions (1-2 hours), not licensed child care.

2. Independent Instructors and Safety

All instructors working with youth have completed a Police Information Check including Vulnerable Sector Search.

3. Attendance

Please provide at least 24 hours notice for absences. Missed group classes are not individually made up, but materials are shared through the portal.

Part C: Privacy and Data Tracking Consent (PIPA / PIPEDA)

Nibras collects learning and participation data (for example assessments, homework completion, progress pace) to personalize instruction and generate progress reports.

Records are stored on secure systems and only authorized staff/instructors can access them. Nibras does not sell personal or learning analytics data.

Part D: Media and Promotional Consent

You choose whether Nibras may use photos/videos of yourself or your child in promotional channels. Full names are never published beside media without separate explicit written consent.

Acknowledgment and Signature

If the student is under 18, a parent/legal guardian must sign. By signing at registration, the adult signer confirms that terms, privacy/data-tracking consent, and media consent selection were understood and accepted.
