Today we're launching Mr Nibras, a new way to find Quran and Arabic learning wherever you are.
Wherever you live, you should be able to find a good teacher. Mr Nibras brings it all into one place.
Learn in person, near you
Mr Nibras already lists more than 4,700 places to learn in 63 countries: masjids, Islamic centres, Quran schools and Arabic programs, and more are added every week. Search your city and see what's close to you, whether that's a weekend halaqa for your children, a hifz program or an Arabic class for adults.
Learn online with the top 1% of teachers
If there's no class nearby, or you'd rather learn from home, Mr Nibras connects you with the top 1% of Quran and Arabic teachers from around the world for one-to-one online lessons.
Our standards are high. Before any family can see a teacher, they go through a careful screening:
- Application and interview. We look at how well they recite, how they teach and what they've taught before.
- Knowledge exam. We test their knowledge of the Quran, tajweed and Arabic.
- Presentation and communication skills. We assess how clearly they explain, how they present a lesson, and how well they communicate with students and parents.
Most applicants don't get through. That's on purpose.
For children and adults
Whether you're starting with the Arabic letters, perfecting your tajweed, memorising the Quran or learning to speak Arabic, Mr Nibras helps you find the right teacher and the right place, and book your first lesson in a few minutes.
